Here's to the a very lovely start to my week long vaca from school!

 filled with more coffee trips, lounging around, golfing with my love and zupas' salads. 

Mini vacation part two:

We didn't have the time or money to go to Las Vegas like we had planned, but we decided to get a hotel for a few nights in Salt Lake City, so we could at least have a little vaca even if it was only an hour away from home. We went shopping at this awesome outdoor mall, got sushi, went golfing together and ordered pizza and watched movies all night. It was a such a nice weekend and I'm going to miss having my love around.

color melting

So I know I just got my hair done, but being in hair school makes it hard to not look and get obsessed/jealous of other hairstyles. I've become super in love with the melting color technique. It's super low maintenance and done right can look so pretty. I won't be doing anything to my hair for awhile but I can always fantasize :)

I love having Mondays off but it's probably a good thing I will be starting my 40 hour college weeks come August. Today I got so bored and when that happens I get quite the sweet tooth.. bad idea! So I dragged my sister out to good ole Target and bought some cake mix :) Sorry, this pictures are pretty bad but the lighting in the kitchen plus my camera phone didn't work together very well.

Wish List

This year I've been super into electronics. Especially when it comes to getting a new and amazing camera and an Ipad 2. My love has been very difficult when it comes to Apple.. All his computers and his laptop are hp, so he's not to fond of my love and need for the ipad. But I want one! haha. Needless to say, Christmas and my birthday need to come faster.

This red cover is ama-zing! The BEST part is its magnetic so it turns into a stand as well. Totally rad! and it makes me want one even more now.

When life happens

I'm soooo NOT use to being busy! It's weird. and sort of overwhelming... I get up take care of pups, get ready in lightening fast time, then rush to school where I spent my ten hour days and come up to my crazy children. The weekends feel like a rush just to fit all of my friends in before I have to start the week over again, and my body isn't liking this new schedule much.

So far this weekend I have tried out two new restaurants, saw harry potter (AWESOME!!) drove back and fourth to see a friend/my love, and ran a few errands. Not to mention I ran into school yesterday on my "day off" and cut my step-dad's hair.. Needless to say, I'm in dire need of some down time and puppy cuddling time. What's sad is I don't have a giant house to clean yet, or any human children to chase and feed. How do people do it all!?

Bliss

I've been super happy lately, like something in my brain finally clicked with the universe. I feel so blessed to be doing things for myself and my future. So blessed to have a man that wants to still take care of me even though we're 100 miles apart, which might I add is the worst! Having my other half missing in my happiest moments is definitely an everyday struggle... But after five years together we've decided nothing will break this up. We've set a plan for our lives and I'm determined to keep it alive, and finally have a life we've been dreaming up for awhile now. I guess this is me spewing all the positive energy I have out into the world in hopes this new found love of life stays awhile. I hope everyone is having a good year :)

Obsession

I'm in love with getting new nail polish, and today I found these awesome babies. I bought the pink but really want to find the black matte color. They're so different and fun. I also bought some nail stickers that I thought I would try out (picture further down) for my upcoming Vegas trip. So we will see how they turn out. The picture looks super cute though.

Hello bangs & darker hair!

So far

This weekend has been both exciting and exhausting. Friday I finished my basic class in Cosmetology :) (Basics is just a term they use for their training course) and afterwards my love and I ran a few errands and headed up to his family's cabin. It's so gorgeous up there, and every time we go up there, there is at least one deer waiting for us :) When we got back it was my little sister's birthday so my mom and I made blueberry pie and the family went and saw transformers.Thankfully today has been pretty lazy. Lots of naps and coffee. and of course puppy cuddling time. I can't believe Cleo will be five months soon. Crazy! And she is getting pretty big too.

Pretty sure I will have to acquire at least a few of these things soon. I'm in need of a shopping day anyways :)
